  • Junior Developer

    Embrace Digital is looking for a bright enthusiastic individual to join our business in the role of Junior Developer. We are a young technology company that is rapidly expanding meaning we are seeking to expand the team with like-minded individuals. We are less about the 9 – 5 and more about mixing hard work with fun to achieve results, so if you think you fit the bill, read on.

    Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Junior Developer role is aimed at candidates looking to build their career in the technology industry. Educated to degree level (2:1 or higher), preferably in Computer Sciences or Mathematics, coding language experience is essential, preferably in .NET. Knowledge of SQL, HTML, API service calls and XML would also be of benefit alongside any knowledge of scanning, data capture or workflow products, although not essential.

    Initially working on designated pieces of customer delivery work which are pre-specified, for the right candidate, the role has the potential to expand into a full Technical Consultant role in time to encompass customer requirements gathering, system and service design, development, delivery and ongoing support.

    With excellent written and spoken English alongside good communication and interpersonal skills, a drive to succeed will be critical. The successful candidates will be hard working and able to work under pressure and to agreed timelines.

    The role comes with laptop and mobile phone alongside flexible working options, a good team culture and opportunity to obtain industry specific technology certifications.

    Primarily based in our Warrington office, some travel to customer sites will also be required, although a lot of deployments are carried out remotely. Some working from home will also be possible under our flexible working options.

    Start date ASAP.

    Salary, £23,000 - £25,000, dependent on experience.

  • Support Analyst

    Embrace Digital is looking for a bright enthusiastic individual to join our business in the role of Support Analyst. We are a young technology company that is rapidly expanding meaning we are seeking to expand the team with like-minded individuals. We are less about the 9 – 5 and more about mixing hard work with fun to achieve results, so if you think you fit the bill, read on.

    Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Support Analyst role is aimed at candidates educated to degree level (2:1 or higher), preferably in Computer Sciences or Mathematics. Coding language experience is essential, preferably in .NET with knowledge of SQL, HTML, API service calls and XML also being of benefit. Any knowledge of scanning, data capture or workflow products would be an advantage.

    Initially working on customer support, the candidate will be the initial point of contact for customer support calls. Taking the initial details and liaising with the professional services team for information, the primary aim is for calls to be resolved as quickly as possible by the support team. Should this not be possible, you will be responsible for escalating to the Professional Services team for review. Alongside your main role, you will also be involved in customer project delivery.

    With excellent written and spoken English alongside good communication and interpersonal skills, a drive to succeed will be critical. The successful candidates will be hard working and able to work under pressure and to agreed timelines.

    For the right candidate, there is opportunity for this role to grow and progress through our career path towards Developer and Technical Consultant roles, with customer requirements gathering, system and service design, development, delivery and ongoing support all being possible role expansions.
