Embrace Digital has successfully achieved recertification of its ISMS and QMS systems to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 level following recertification audits by BSI in December.   The Embrace Digital team works very hard to ensure that the principles of these standards are underpinned in all aspects of our work, with excellent customer service being the focus of everything we do.

“We have successfully been able to achieve recertification of our ISMS and QMS systems to the 9001 and 27001 standards, adhering to best practices in information security and quality management,” says Chris Thomas, Managing Director.  “I am particularly proud of the team’s ability to continually improve our processes; taking the principles of the standard and ensuring they are embedded throughout all our work so that we can continue to offer the best levels of service to our clients.

“Information security is high on everyone’s agenda.  Attaining certification to ISO/IEC 27001 standard confirms the importance we place on data security and supporting our clients; many of which operate in highly-regulated and data-centric markets.”

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for quality management.  This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the commitment of the leadership team, methodical and proven processes and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

What is ISO/IEC 27001?

ISO/IEC 27001 sets out the criteria for information security management. Using the principles of this standard enables organisations of any kind to effectively manage the security of assets (both physical and electronic), identify and manage risks, ensure there is awareness of information security across the business and ensure that there is commitment to review and improvement at all times.

We are proud to choose BSI, a leading global standards maker, for our audit and certification process.
